Well i'm sure happy I found the trim part and believe it got ran over a few times, because of where it dropped out. either way just happy it is on instead of without. Got it glued on and should be good to go. I did notice the driver headlight had build up in it, but still better than how the other ones were. I guess down the road i'll just have to buy some news and pick from the ones that were suggested before. Either way a am much more happy with these than the other ones.

Well looks like some MRT Hood struts will be sent my way soon.
So I guess everything on my list is checked off and now on to the next items.

Nice thing is that some of these are just fixing up what needs to be corrected so it isn't anything crazy.
I still need to get a center cap, which will happen very soon.

They fit really good and look excellent. Only drawback was that I needed to seal them with silicone so they wouldn't fog up inside on the damp days etc.

If you don't plan to drive it in crappy weather, these should work good.

That sucks they fog up. Did you ever get that issue resolved? Did you do switch backs too? Those clear corners look pretty good on most colors. Azure is one of them.

Yup, sealing them up with silicone fixed the moisture problem. I originally just had them send another set to replace them, but they were worse lol. I was told by others to heat them up in an oven, take them apart and re-seal them that way, but I thought that sounded stupid. I almost just gave up and bought an OEM set and figured it wouldn't hurt to try putting silicone along the seam and it ended up working.

I like the idea of the switchbacks, but I didn't care too much for the look at night. Too much of a white head-light look for me. I like the amber color on the corners at night.

Well these d@mn exhaust tips are moving on me, lol. I guess they are just moving from all the bumping going on.
May need to have them tac welded to get them from moving any more.
Just frustrating is all.

Gotcha. I like the amber too. Glad the silicone got it for you.

Been there...one small tack on the bottom will solve that issue. Not sure why some clamps do that. Definitely frustrating though.

Probably just do not clamp down as good as other types.

Alright, so MRT hood struts came in yesterday and got them on today.
For some reason the driver side fender bolt did not like the bracket and was a pain to get it to screw back in, but got it done.
Check that off.

The quadrant and fwa came in, but do not know when those will go on.

Sorry the engine bay is so dirty

Re: Next item to be done.

Since I'm messing with these MRT hood struts, I thought I go ahead and pull out the C&L air filter and clean it so it is fresh.
After having that out, I thought about pulling the intake piping off and spraying it, so that is what I did.
It is all sprayed black now and back on, will put the air filter on tomorrow and get pictures sometime.

Air filter is recharged and intake tube sprayed and back on, really happy with the black.

Well exhaust tips were still moving over.
Come to find out and do not know if true, but the exhaust guy said that stainless steel has an issue with moving over time, because how heat and stainless steel react to one another with clamps.

Either way, figure I have them tach weld them in place and call it good. Guy was so nice, he got me right in and wasn't going to charge me, but I gave him a tip for his work.

Re: Next item to be done.

Center caps came in today, but I learned a good lesson of making sure they are a 2.5" and not 2.25". so now on the search again for some cheap 2.5".
Live and learn
