39, well almost 40 (Oct) I like to call the the "Greican Formula" Years:)
This is my 1st Mustang and 1st muscle car, and I love it. |
I should be about a month away from my 23rd birthday when I get mine in November. Hopefully for my birthday (or christmas) I'll get myself a nice used awd or fwd winter-beater - :MADNOEL:

I am 16, but i don't have a new mach.
We got the 70 when i was about 14, and fixed it up until it was driveable. It was one heck of a learning experience. |
Wow I like how it looks man, awesome job. Now that is what I call a learning experience.

I was going to go to the beach through CA-84 (Woodside road for those who who know the area). While I was in town, i heard a barely audible sound, and my suspension felt softer. Anyway, it turs out the rear swaybar mount popped out. If i hadn't built up the car myself, i would have never been able to know something was wrong, and i would have drove the twisties with a one sided rear sway bar, and three other people in the car. It sure pays to fix your own car. Anyway, my story is over, thanks again. |
Just turned 22 a week ago...This is my 1st Mustang and hopefully not my last...trying to persuade the hubby into the "family car" for a few years down the road:D

young @ heart
I am 39 , will be big 40 when i take delivery of my 1ST Ford. I've owned 5 Bow Ties in the past. All serious street rippers . 68 camaro ss. with a blown 355 , 72 nova ss w/ 327 4 speed, another 72 nova ss w/ 355 ci. crate motor automatic, a 75 camaro w/ 406ci and auto. and a 78 nova rs. w/ 427 big block & 4 speed. The mustang will be the slowest of everything I've owned but, I'm sure I'll do some small mods to help it go a little faster, I'm really looking for streetability for a change.

37, currently driving Mustang #5...
Prior Rides:
1975 Mustang Mach 1, highly modded, 1982-1988. 1968 Pontiac GTO, 425hp bigblock, 1986-1995. 1972 Chevy Nova, L71 427 bigblock, 1985-1988. 1988 Mustang LX, let's forget this one, 1988-1989. 1989 Mustang LX 5.0L Sport, 5-spd, 3.73's, 1989-1994. 1995 Dodge Dakota Sport 2WD, 318 V8, 5-spd, 3.55's, 1994-1998. 1990 Thunderbird, daily driver beater, 1998-1999. 1993 Thunderbird LX 5.0L, 4.10's, $ winner at the track, 1999-2000. 2000 Mustang "Spring Feature" GT coupe, 2000-2003. 2003 Mustang Mach 1 - the best of all and currently in my driveway! |
I'm 50. Can't imagine what insurance would cost me if I were younger. My daughter is 20 and pays more for a six cylinder Mustang. Both of us have PERFECT driving records. I also have a 1966 Mustang convertible, candyapple red with white top. I had a 1965 fastback when I was a teenager. I drove it throughout college. I have had a 1974 Mustang, a 1977, a 1978, a 1990, a 1994, a 1966 coupe, a 2000 and a 2002. The last two were six cylinders. The Mach is without a doubt the most powerful and fun to drive of any of them, convertible included.
I have torch red and a 5-speed. It's been five years since I have driven a 5-speed and it's taking some time to get used to that again. The seats also are designed for someone a bit leaner than I, but I'm enduring it. Mustangs rule. Six cylinders help keep the hobby alive because most teens can at least afford to insure them. Camaros and Firebirds concentrated too much on V8's and couldn't sell enough to remain profitable. Ford must sell V6's in order to give us GT's, Cobras and Mach Ones. |
I'm 18 and this is my first Mustang.
As much as I would not want any other mustang, I kinda feel like I missed out a little by not working my way up... (this is not an invite to trade with someone that owns a V6 :p) |
