I haven't been since the 1st year, seems like it rains every year for the All Ford Nationals. The Mach has been caught in a couple of rain storms the last 5 years so who cares if it rains again for the AFN. Bring it on ;)

Made reservations a couple weeks ago at the Homewood place most of you guys are staying at. I'll be bringing my black Mach and a friend of mine is bringing his red one. Looks like this is going to be a great event. This will be my first trip to Carlisle. Can't Wait!

That would be cool. Problem is we're not leaving until Thursday afternoon. I see where a lot of you guys will be there earlier than that. We will be there on thursday night at the hotel. That way we will be ready to go Friday.

Awesome guys!! Let's keep up the good work and this will be a blast...

Also, we need magazine coverage of our line up at the show, I know all the magazines will be there.!!

When we park, let's get everyone lined up perfectly and keep it tight, like always. We might run out of room.

What happened was that Ford makes a crappy adjustable quadrant. It couldn't properly position my clutch pedal, so I wasn't getting full release every time I shifted, which means I was effectively powershifting my car every time I changed gears :27: . Ford replaced the tranny under warranty (I have a great dealership) and we discovered the real problem soon after it was installed, because I was immediately having trouble shifting the new tranny too. I went to an aftermarket quadrant and adjuster (Fiore ) and all the problems disappeared.

Anything we can do now to try and persuade or influence any magazines? What mags show up, Mustang Enthusiast, Mustang Monthly??
MM&FF does not cover this, do they?

Mustang Monthly and Mustang & Fords magazines usually do a pretty good job of coverage. Their lead time is about three months from event to publication time so it's usually their Sept and Oct issues that have the coverage in them. Also a lot of their featured magazine cars get set up for photo shoots and articles while at Carlisle.

Hopefully Mustang Enthusiast will do some coverage this year also since Scott Hoag has been doing columns for them lately.

My favorite magazine right now is Modified Mustang. Those guys have a great new look and they have done great coverage of events. Last year, they came to our National show and did a wonderful 4 or 5 page story on it. Also, they are not a member of the primedia giant like the ones previously mentioned. 5.0 magazine is a great one, but is part of the primedia group. Nothing against them, but all thier magazines kind of have the same feel/look.

Re: Carlisle All Fords Mach 1 Regional - June 1-3, 2007

Scott is a contributing editor for Modified Mustangs also.
