I'm 16.
I learned to drive stick when I was 15 on a 1986 Jeep, then learned some more on a 1996 Mustang V6 (friends car). This is my first 'Stang, but second Ford. First car was a 1997 Thunderbird LX with the 4.6 V8 (16 Valve, 205 Horsepower). My grandfather blew the engine up one day after redlining it on a coldstart in the ice for a while. The intake manifold cracked completely in half and warped 2 of the cylinders. I somehow managed to drive it to the garage, where they replaced the manifold, got the 2 cylinders to fire, and said it's as good as new. A week later, my alternator went bad, my new manifold didn't fit the TBird and got warped, and the two cylinders stopped firing. Once again they repaired it and I sold it to a family member for 3000 dollars. Saw the Mach at a dealership, looked at my grandpa and said "You owe me." Drove home with it 4 days later :D |
I'm 19 :D

This is by far the coolest car I've ever had the pleasure of riding in - let alone driving or owning :) |
I'm on my 3rd Stang. My first was a 1999 Candy Apple Red V6, bought when I was 19. My 2nd was a 2000 Bright Atlantic Blue GT bought when I was 20. & this one I purchased in March, when I was 24. I still am 24.

Holy Crow!
See how even the demographics are spread out! I would like to see the 41 and up broken down better. I figured 29 and below would be real low. Wonder what Ford’s focus groups came up with? |
39 yrs old and 4th Mustang
80 6cyl 83 GT 5spd 4bbl 90 GT AT 04 Mach 1 5spd I thought the results would be weighted more to the 30 and below group. I'm surprised at the number of 41+ out there. You guys still remember the 82 GT 4spd 2bbl that started it all? I was 17 and wanted that car sooo bad. But I ended up getting a new 83 instead. |

Wow...all these 16 year olds with Mach 1's????? Reminds me of the stories Dad told of the guys' parents buyin em Hemi Road Runners/ Chargers and other crazy cars. Tree ribbons is what some turned out to be. Not always the case thank God. I'm jealous I was brought up ....gulp....middle class. |

 51, first Mach was a 1969, brand new, sophmore in High School. I have always thought the younger generation was cheated out of the muscle cars, until now, with todays Machs and Cobras.
