I've never seen a QB get 5 TD's and only throw for 228 yards. That might be a record.

Lowest total I have seen. I know Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for under 300 and 4 td's this year.

Make sure you chisel that on your grave stone, since you can't seem to get over it.

Seriously 9 offsides by the bears tonight? The first quarter of that game was a complete joke. There were over 20 penalties total, sloppiest game of nfl football I've ever seen. We can't run an offense with no line. I feel for Jay, he took a beating tonight.

Re: NFL Football Thread

I knew on that first drive when the Bears moved the ball 40 yards on penalties and they still could'nt get a point they were already beaten. The Bears defense is a joke.

After last night's thrilling walk-off grand slam at the other stadium in Arlington, I don't think anyone in the DFW area gives a @#$% about romo and the cowgirls. They are a 8-8 team. What's exciting about that?

I hate to say you are right, not because it bothers me that you are right, but because I'm a Bears fan and the Chicago Bears are supposed to be about defense. They allowed 8.4 yards per play, that is pathetic. Jay Cutler and Matt Forte played like heroes last night and it was nowhere near enough.

The Bears secondary is particularly horrific. They can't cover their face when they sneeze.

haha, all I have to say about the Pats is that I'm glad Brady had an off week. Team I was playing in fantasy had him as qb. Big W for me this week, no complaints haha

Big Ron

come on big ron....use your noggin

through week 5, the cowboys have had the TOUGHEST schedule of ANYONE.

theres no way they are 8-8...they're 10-6 at minimum

Thunderbolt 10-12-2011 07:19 PM

Re: NFL Football Thread

Oh ok. So that's 10-6 minimum when your not whining about their offense, defense, or Special teams sucking.

ive never whined about special teams really. though a decent kicker woulda been nice

i whine about no running game and our secondary that couldnt put a cover on tonight's leftovers.

10-6 gets us division championship and in the playoffs, btw. will probably be a better record than the squeelers have too

So let's see now. It's no running game, no secondary, and now no offensive line. Yeah, that'll get you a 10-6 record, minimum. Just imagine if those area's were'nt a problem. 19-0 easy.
