1000 plus miles

My mach 1 is now 1011 miles, ya guys think its safe to drive it like I stole it? Im suppose to race my friends 01 GT on Sat.

Hell I had it at the dragstrip 3 days after I got it. I did purchase the 100k bumper to bumper though. I say let it break and I'll take my free rental car to the strip too!:D

Since the break in period just said to vary the speed for the first 1000 miles, I did exactly that. I varied it from 0 to 110 to 20 to 100 to 30 to 90, etc. :D Pound it and lets see you caulk up a win. :THUMBSUP:

On the way home from the Dealership I got into a race with a 94 to 96 Camaro with exhaust and who-knows what, Automatic. He had me by a head until 40 and then I walked him HARD! Must of pulled 4 to 6 legnths from 40 to 60.:D

even up no advantage for GT coz he got exhaust, chip, rings and pinion, cold air intake and short shifter and oh yeah, throttle body. he is confident enought to smoke me he said . we'll see. what cha guys think?:!!:

If his mods were done right and he knows how to drive, it could be a close race. Too close to call. If the mods are not done correctly or he does not know how to drive a stick, you will walk him when you hit 3rd above 4K. Let us know how it goes. :HOPPY:

Just remember to do the most important thing: Out drive him! He can beat you if he's the better driver, but car for car I believe it's advantage: Mach1.
