wow thanks man, most forums would just reply "use the search button". so im looking at going 245 in front and 275 out back, hopefully it wont effect my handling in a bad way. right now the tires in the front are pretty close to bald and theres a play/floaty feel in the steering wheel. when i get the tires installed i want an alignment done at the sametime. any "custom" alignment settings recommended for street use? im planning in the future to do some road coarse also.

I pretty much asked the same question. When I do stuff like that, I try to keep the link handy for other folks. You may wanna try and send a PM to
GOTdaBLUE1 ... he seems to be pretty knowledgeable on this tire and wheel stuff.

Good Luck!

it all depends on which tire brand you are using.

a 275 works in the rear if it is a nitto since nitto's run narrow. however, a BFG 275 wouldnt work in the rear because its too wide for a stock wheel

275 bfg's do work,

which ones are those? I was told their KDW's were too wide for a stock rim

fwiw, my buddy runs the nitto invo's on his 500rwhp n/a c6 z06....he ran 1.9 60', 11.3 @ 131 on them....so id give them a try
