View Full Version : '03 Mach 1 for Sale in MI, 1st Torch Red VIN

This is the "first" (lowest) Torch Red VIN, 3rd lowest overall (one of the 1st 25 VIP vehicles). I am the original owner -- car has been adult driven, never abused and never in an accident. Car has 12,300 miles it is my daily driver. Great car, I just need something more practical.

Car is Torch Red Mach 1 with a 5-speed M/T & IUP. Car also includes the following additional extras Bullitt-style aluminum fuel door, honeycomb rear valence black-out panel made by CDC (similar to 35th Anniversary Mustang GT in 1999) and a black Ford antenna from 2002 Mustang (all 2003 Mustangs came from the factory with silver-colored antenna).

With low VIN (and 1st VIN with most popular Torch Red color), the car will be a guaranteed collectible. I have all of the paperwork including factory build sheet, factory quality inspection sign-off sheet, and original window sticker. My price is $22,500 -- very reasonable for all that is offered (including the extras), I'm not looking to profit off of exclusive VIN. If interested, I will also sell (for extra price) extended 5-year Ford warranty and extra set of '01 Cobra rims with 245/45-17 Blizzak snow tires.

If interested, either e-mail for pictures (shark82@peoplepc.com) or call (248-981-7746).

$22,500 may not be such a bad deal for what you get.

Way to early in the game to be talking about collectable pricing.
I for one bought mine to DRIVE. I do plan on holding on to it but think the collectable angle is a little bit much right now. For about 5k more you can go to any ford dealer and buy a brand new one. Dont really think being !st will matter that much even 20 yrs from now. After all these are just production mustangs same as all the others built side by side with gt's and v6's. Not the same as say a 69 R code MACH or an early COBRA (shelby). just my .02. But good luck selling it.
