Hi!! My name is Jim and I live in Minneapolis, MN. I see that you are not getting any answers to your posting either. I think all of the Mach 1's in the midwest are hibernating.
What part of Iowa are you from?? I'm originally from Emmetsburg, Iowa.

Jim,

Nice to meet you. I am about a hour south of Iowa City. I just put my Mach into hibernation last friday b/c we just got our first real storm and they salted the roads. I post on a site from the twin cities

That is very close to me, I am from Richland, only 35 minutes from you. I used to work for Shottenkirk there in Mt Pleasant.

Now I have someone to blame when I'm stopped by the law. "It had to be that other Mach officer. You know the one from Richland"

I'm just across the border in Omaha. Mine is garaged for the winter, but sometimes I sneak it out on good days.

Saw you guys from Iowa and Omaha (my town). Need to know a good Ford Dealer to get a Mach.

Thanks!

Check on autotrader. When I was shopping for my mach there were a couple nice dealers around kansas city that had some heck of a deal. In iowa look up dewey ford in ames on the internet. They have a comp orange for a great price so I heard!

Not much help locally, bought mine in CA. KC is probably the best place to look if you want more than one hit. Have you tried Lincoln? You might get lucky.

Let me know how it goes...always looking for an excuse for a Mach 1 get together. Not many here in Omaha; besides mine, all I've seen are a torch red and a DSG.

Add one more to the list in Omaha. Looks like I'll be getting a Yellow or Blue one. Found some fairly good deals.

I like the idea of a Mach 1 get together.

The absolute BEST thing is Iowa is the World of Outlaws races in Knoxville.....raises the hair on the back of your neck. My neighbors dad used to build sprint car engines (has a sprint car in the Knoxville speedway museum).

SO, no mach's in DesMoines Hmmm, my home town. Also what is this knoxville race thing? In Iowa, or Tennessee?

Martin: the Knoxville Iowa track is the final series of the World of Outlaws sprint cars. It is the best wheel-to-wheel dirt racing IMO. Very hard to get good tickets for (without buying scalped ones).

Oh sure, there are more owners in Des Moines area if you count West Des Moines.

On my second mustand, first was 01 red GT. Traded it in on 03 Mach 1 red but kept the torque thrust wheels from the GT.

Lots of fun and I get the looks from younger guys when they see an older woman driver.:D

Isn't West Des Moines the rich side of Des Moines? So why wouldn't it be... o yeah it is seperate isn't it?
