don't get the mac headers. The fitment quality was poor. Also for 700 bucks plus get BBK. The mac's can be had for much cheaper than that.

For $700 I'd pay a little more and get Kooks or American Racing.

jeez a little more? i paid 1360 for my kooks lt's and off road x pipe, stainless with ceramic coating.... but at least i can take my trans out when i want to. thats another thing to consider when you get headers, some you have to take the pass side header off in order to get the trans out to change a clutch or something.

I have BBKs and the quality is fair, but you get what you pay for.

MAC is better quality from what I have seen. They got a bad rep from their old products.

MAC/BBk are both some of the best bang for the buck.

Kooks are the best but you pay for it.

Also you might want to consider brands that allow easy removal of the transmission.

MMR's reputation kind of sucks. MMR's LTs look like ceramic coated Macs.

+1...

Everyone always bashes the Mac headers, but honestly, mine fit great, tuck up nicely (which is important on a lowered car), the quality is great for the price, & they made good power. Yeah, you wont be able to get the trans out without removing one of the headers, but thats what a tubular K member is for:smokin:

I just don't see how Kooks could be that much better & worth the extra $500+.... Plus with how low my car sits, those expensive kooks headers would be ruined pretty quick since they hang so low...

i noticed that the mmr's looked the same as the mac's. and thats the other thing. my car scrapes on everthing. i have to hit speedbumps at a angle from ****. but that could be because its my cats that are scraping and there goin away.:)

Kook's are much better than Mac's, trust me. But for the money Mac's and BBK's serve their purpose.
