View Full Version : Does a 295/35/18 tire fit an 18x9 rim?

What's up everybody, does anyone know if a 295/35/18 will fit on an 18x9 wheel? Has anybody done it? Any help is greatly appreciated,thanks.

will it fit? yes. will it look good? depends on the person. it might bulge a little bit but also depends on the tire. bfgs tend to run big and nittos tend to run narrow.

Normally a 275 goes on a 9 inch rim, and you can fit 315's on a 9 inch so 295's will have no problem.

Proper fit, no. Will it get on there...Yes.

I would not do that tire on anything but a 10inch wide rim.

General rule to remember is nothing more than 2 inches of your rim. So a 9in wheel woudl be 275. Anything more, the sidewalls will get worn out, you might not be holding in air, or your tire could jump off the wheel in a hard turn.

I'm in the same boat...........18x9 rims, and the smallest nitto dr is 295/35/18

Now I could run MT et streets in 275s, but I'll get no street miles out of them.
