From what I have heard this product MAY have done something for the older cars. However for todays vehicles this would probably make the fuel economy worse and may have other damamging effects. I think the idea nowadays is is to have stable air and not turbulent...but what the hell do I really know:HALLOW:

Thanks for taking a minute to respond. I had to ask because there is always something on TV.

With this day and time we have to be careful, right?

Sorry for the late chime in. We recently started selling these things at the store I work at, and cannot keep them on the shelf. One employee has used a Tornado and said it helped his performance, but he doesn't keep up with his fuel milage. I have not used on my car, but I did notice in the fine print on the box it mentions that gains were obtained with the addtional use of a K&N filter. I have used the K&N and can vouch for the improvements it gives. Another fellow employee added a throttle body spacer to his V-6 car and was thrilled with the improvements. The tornado and the spacer do have one thing in common, the use some type of design to swirl the airflow to help properly mix the air and fuel. It seems like a good concept.

If you really want to find out what very experienced mustang folk think of them, post a question in the stangnet 4.6 tech forum. Sorry to say but you will get flamed extremely bad and most likely the thread will get locked. There is no tolerance over there for this waste of money. It is mainly viewed as a ricer add-on with no real performance value whatsoever.

I had to ask, because it doesn't cost if you improve your performance and gas mileage, right:MADNOEL:

Sorry if I came off harsh I didn't mean to. Any cheap way to improve is good in my book. I was just passing on what I have witnessed over the last year while trying research mods, etc... for my GT.

You really think blocking the intake tube with a cheap fan would improve performance? :SMASH:
