Ford has pulled the covers off the new SHO Taurus. Powered by the 365hp Eco-Boost V6, it should be a screamer!

The next gen Taurus is a very attractive car. Ford should sell a ton of them.

The SHO is as sweet as they get for a sedan.

too expensive but otherwise a nice car.

It's a nice looking car but for a little over $40k I could buy a Chrysler 300C SRT-8 and get rear wheel drive and V-8 torque instead of a front-driver with an awd bandaid on it and a turboed-up V-6.

I like it, a nice revival of a cool performance car.

I really, really like that car. I have been waiting a decade for Ford to finally deliver a sedan with some PUNCH to it. That SHO should run mid 13s with no problem. Good job Ford!

Not a bad looking car but if its going to be the same price as the SrT8 Charger/300C I'd be leaning towards the Charger.....

pretty expensive for what it is and i'm not so sure i'm crazy about the wheels yet. I'd rather have a challenger for the $$

SRT-8s are fun cars and there is now many performance parts out there for them. The one big issues is the weight.....I really like mine -

I agree, and I really don't think it looks that sporty. I like the wheels, but that's about it. I'd rather see this powerplant in an AWD Fusion or a new Mustang SVO. JMO

Im figuring Ford brought it out to compete with the Hyandia Genesis

exactly

which is why they'll be able to get away with the pricing too

Too expensive. I can already see those people "donking" them out. :anger:

Looks like a cool car and would be a nice daily driver. Price is a little high. Don't know why people are comparing RWD V-8 cars to this. That is for the 2011 5.0 mustang.

Looks great! But with the way the economy is, not sure how many people will be willing to spend that kind of money.

After the initial buzz wears off they will be discounting them just like all other domestic cars. It has a lot of content for discounted mid to upper 30's. Just be patient if you want one and want a good deal.

I guess now we've got a better picture of what kind of numbers the ecoboost Mustang model will be capable of.:smokin:

Makes that supposed 400hp GT seem just that much more plausible. Can't wait.

Very nice car, and I agree with everyone - over priced. C'mon Ford, wake up and get with the real world!!:smack:

Even better, what do you think of the new Shelby GT350 if it has 350hp...from the Eco-Boost V6?

Very cool. Now if they'll put that engine combo in the AWD Fusion they'd have a winner for my wife! :)
