I'm thinking about buying a sport trac that's going to be available in town. My wife asked me if it was a good idea to keep my last Mach1 and the hot rod and I said, perhaps not. I told her I would sell it but only for a good price. :worship:

So here you go:
It's that ugly blue color

Runs like crap, if you want my opinion

29K miles but I have only changed the oil ONCE

It has the wrong wheels and tires

Hard to get into second the first time when cold, tranny may blow-up anytime

There is an interior odor at times!!!!!

Drinks gas like crazy and must have EXPENSIVE premium, one tank of regular might cause the engine to burst into flames

It has a freaking hole in the middle of the hood, you know that ain't good

I will warranty it until it's out of sight and I don't see so good anymore

I'm asking $29,993 firm or you can make payments of $1200/month for 4 years and I keep the car until the full amount is paid. Any missed payment ends the deal and I keep the car and money.

If interested pm me, put I'M STUPID in the title line.

You can email me at:

fatchance@paypaldisputes.com

I hope to sell it soon. Thanks G

Pics coming soon.

I e-mailed your wife this link. She said she didn't realize the car was in such bad shape and is begining to think you've been spending your money chasing loose women and drinking instead of on your cars as she thought.

Anyways she said due to the bad condition of your car as described, She'll sell to the first person with $1200 that contacts her.

Sounds like her, except the $1200. She knows cars pretty good, for a girl!!!:23:

Nice! But, for real -- are you getting a Sport Trac? I just picked up an '08 Adrenalin model. Seems one of those would fit you better than a normal 'Trac, since you sure ain't normal!

It's not running too good, the price will have to go up some.

If it needs to be fixed, I think the new owner needs to have plenty of the green stuff. :smokin:

That kinda what I was hoping for, I will be happy to sign the car for the new owner. That will make it almost a lock for one of the Barrett-Jackson TV slots if the next owner decides to part with it. :worship:

I'm not really looking for a Sport-Trac but I have a friend who wants to part with one before he moves on to his next duty assignment (Korea). If he don't sell it I'll just keep it for him for 13 months.

It's a Silver V8 AWD 08 with the Adrenalin package. Sadly just an appearance package. :smokin:

He had a chance to do a quick tour to Korea with a follow on of Fort Bragg as a last assignment and could not pass it up. He plans to retire in the RDU area. This came available about 4 months after he got the truck. He has it at Fort Huachuca for a TDY and still has until late Jan to sell. If not I'll take care of it for him, he watched a 90LX 5.0 for me many years ago. :worship:

If you sigh it i'll give you another grand. I'll pick it up for the 45th at Birmingham show in April. Please don't sigh til the show. I'd like pic. and documentation at the show. Should put the value thru the roof. :23: Can you pick me up at the airport.

How does he like the Sport Trac? How is the MPG with the 4.6? We are expecting our first baby in January and my extended cab Ranger isn't going to cut it when I need to haul the family. :(

Very nice. I'm not too sure if you all know that I have one of them in Colorado Red. My Dad and I have twins, although mine is 2wd with more electronic goodies, while his is more basic with more functionallity; AWD.

The cool thing is, is that the paint code is the same as on the Torch Red Mach that I have as well. Trivia: back in the day, I remember reading about Ford calling the "Torch Red" paint color, "Colorado Torch Red", but since Chevy was releasing the "Chevy Colorado" truck, Ford decided to ditch the "Colorado" part in the name and run with just "Torch Red". Now, the color is called "Colorado Red" and there is no mention of "Torch". Whatever.

How is the MPG with the 4.6?(
At first it was really bad, about 16 on the highway. I cranked over 10,000 miles and now I'm getting about 22 on the highway and around 18-19 in town.

[EDIT: It won't let me post pictures? Hmm.]

And this is with the 4.6? Is it a 4x4?

Sorry, yeah. It's the 3V 4.6. I wouldn't really have responded if it was the 4.0, but yeah, it's the V8. As quoted above, it's 2wd. Or not 4x4.

My buddy is getting about 17.5 based on his trip to AZ, he has the AWD V8. That's close to the 19.2 we get in the 2wd V8 07 Explorer. They all have a really smart 6spd auto. My wife does 65 miles a day round trip for work and most of it is above 55 mph. :worship:

The transmission sucks. That's what most of the complaints are on the ST boards.

No problem with ours in the Explorer, I was considering a SF tune but the mileage is too good to mess with. It seems to every now and then be firm from a dead stop otherwise A+.

Any links to a good ST forum? I'd like to read up on these a little more.
