Are you all planning another cruise to benefit Hospice and if so when in September. I wanted to go last year but I had something else going on that weekend. I love cruising through the Blue Ridge Parkway. I also look forward to the 2010 show at the Biltmore!

Yes.:) We are shooting for these dates.

September the 13th or Saturday, Rain Date is October the 4th

We are not going to be able to use the same mall location this year due to construction, but we have two other places set aside. Will post which we pick later in the summer.

Now, the bad news. We want be able to have a pony run, as a group. The law enforcement said its not possible. The 300+ stangs last year was a stretch. And we expect it to keep growing. We actually had more cars in that one day event than some National shows I have been too.

If you didn't see it we have a video of last years run.

Come on over to our forums and chat a bit. We look forward to seeing you.:3amin:

We have our date set for our 3rd annual Hospice Pony Run in Asheville, NC.

Last year we had 330 stangs and raised $13000 in a single day event, so we could have more this year, or possibly the cost of gas could put a damper of the long distant travelers.:(

For more info visit http://brmcoa.org or the forums http://brmcoa.org/forums/phpBB3/

Remember, we are hosting an MCA Nationals at the Biltmore House next year and will not do another Pony Run until the following year, so sign up soon! I will do my best to put all the 03-04 Mach's together if theres a significant number coming.

Our 4th annual Hospice Pony Run was a success despite the rain we had all day Saturday.
Dont have all the numbers yet, but we had over 200 stangs in the judging show Saturday.
Sunday we had sunshine and over 300 stangs for the pony run thru the Blue Ridge mountains.

Steve Saleen said it was he most enjoyable cruise yet.

Thanks everyone who could make it.

Pics will be up in a few days. I have over 400 to go thru.

Next year; we will have a MCA Nationals at the Biltmore Estate. Registrations will go FAST! Our host hotels are already booked.

Woohoo, I was able to get a room reserved @ the Doubletree for the 2010 MCA show! I can't wait-only about 11 months to go! :23:

Edit: I just received my email confirmation, and looks like they put us in the new Hilton instead of the Doubletree. It's 9 miles away from Biltmore, but that still doesn't seem too bad.

Good to hear you guys are coming.:ORANGE:]

Just wanted to say that we are turning away people and vendors that wanted to come to our show.
And why you ask. Not enough room.

The Biltmore Estate only give us so many parking spaces, and its a holiday so they will still have regular visitors for the gardens and the house. We have turned away several vendors due to the space they require. I think Kicker is gonna eat up close to 100ft. for the big rig and then the Ford collectibles trailer and that eats up several good parking spots.
Also one other problem were facing is the B & C parking lots are a good walk between each other. Yes, two different DJ's.
It will be interesting.

http://brmcoa.org/brmcoa/home_pics/07biltmoreshoot5.jpgOh yeah, we haven't been to Asheville in 20 years. But the Mach is staying home. We're bringing the '03 GT. It was to expensive to bring both. :anger:

NC Mach 1
08-03-2010, 10:44 AM
I understand. However if you think thats expensive I believe the Biltmore gets $85 a person to go into the house normally.

Well we got a request from Shelby Corp. wanting to know if they could set up a display but we just cant do it.
Now if Carroll were to come we would move out a few cars to get him.:worship:

NC Mach 1, do you know what time the awards ceremony will be over Sunday? We're making plans to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway & Tail of the Dragon on our way back home to KY and need to decide to we drive it Sunday or Monday.

NC Mach 1
08-23-2010, 06:23 AM
Given the fact that the Biltmore gave us so much parking space and we had a cap on the amount of stangs that could register, we now have a deal worked out with a Ingles close by that gave us parking for 60 cars and there will be a shuttle Friday and Saturday that will get you into our show.

More details in our forums.
