Basically, it has everything that even a Cobra could aspire to have. I installed the cobra accessory/supercharger drive parts as well - so this is exactly like a modded Cobra under the hood. All supporting mods EXCEPT the only thing I haven't done is change the rear axles - and I would suggest it for sticky tires...which are required to even think about getting it to hook in anything lower than 4th gear.

Here's one that someone else took at a local car show:

There are also a few more pics of the same event from different angles:

Strangly enough, I cant find any engine shots that I took once it was finished. They might be on the wifes laptop still. There are a few pictures in the following thread of the engine in the K-member, before install and of the engine a few minutes after it was installed :) It looks perfectly at home now :)

Made 566 at 14lbs and was really rich. I've upped it to 17lbs and the wideband still shows it as rich but I haven't been back to the dyno.

DaMM nice car!!!
Good luck with your sale!

I know - it hurts. If it helps, the Mach has inspired me somewhat in my next project :) I was recently (last year, hah) able to buy back the first Mustang that I ever owned - in high school, no less. Not one like it, but THE car. We didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid and my mother actually bought and drove this car as her only car for YEARS without A/C in Florida. I then bought it from her when I was 16 - so it's been in the family for quite a while.(I'm 34) It's a 68 Coupe.

Will also consider partial trades for a stock DD.

Nearly $20k in parts alone here.

Never smoked in - back seats used once - driven in rain twice :(

So is a Teksid block aluminum or iron?

Neither............magnesium.:33:

In that case, this is one rare Mach! :)

He's pullin your leg. Aluminum. That, combined with the tubular front suspension offsets the additional weight of the blower and hardware.... probably makes the weight distribution the same as a stock Mach, without the blower.

**** Jeff, after you just spent all that time and money getting to this point, but I understand about the 68.

I can vouch for the spectacular job he has done as I have seen it in person. Someone is getting a sh!t hot Mach.

G/L with the sale and I still may hit you up on an engine build.

That's great. I wish I could find my 93 notch. I loved the car but had to sell to buy my house back in 96. How did you end up finding your exact car?

It was sold to a friend of the family, then my parents bought it back intending to sell it to my younger step-brother. He bought it but I knew he would never do anything with it. He was hard-headed though and wouldn't sell it - he let it rot under a tarp in his back yard for a few years. He finally needed money, like I knew he would and I bought it back. Funny though - all that time and the title remained in my name (they never registered it). So technically, it's been mine for the last 18 years.
