frpp gears are made by motive. motive makes a good azz gear. so save some bucks and buy motive.

Thanks, I was looking at some Motive gears online next to some frpp's and had no idea that they were made by the same company

I spoke with a guy from a local performance shop and he said that once he put the 4.10 rear end in that his 4th gear shift changed from 135 mph to about 118. That seems like alot since I shift out of third between 107 and 110 stock. He has an 03 mach 1

to be honest, i think its like asking who makes a better screwdriver, Snap-On.. Stanley, or Husky. a 4.10 gear is a 4.10 gear to me... as long as its mass produced and has a good rep, they are basically all the same.

Thanks for the feedback. I am excited to find out how the shifting points are going to change. I think it's going to be crazy

I had the gears put in last week. I was shocked at the difference in the pull. I set my expectation's low so that may have contributed. Thursday it's going in for a dyno/tune and a new SCT chip as well as getting the speedo calibrated. can't wait to get her on the track!

I use Yukon gears.... strongest gear I have seen yet and I swear by them. (never heard of them until my builder showed them too me, he swears by them too.)
