I am currently selling my 2003 mach1 as I really need a truck to haul my crap and I want to get another dirtbike later, so with extreme regret I am selling my favorite vehicle to date. (There is nothing wrong with the car)

I bought this a year ago used but in stock form with 30K on the clock for 19.5K. It has been babied and lightly modded to bring out the power and sound hidden by the factory intake, midpipe, exhaust. The car has had royal purple 5w20 changed by myself every 3K miles with a mobil 1 filter( I dont take it to a shop for anything unless I dont have a tool for the job, IE: welding.)

The mods are listed in the video link. However I must note the exhaust setup once started out as a SLP loud mouth1 catback but when I added the O/R H-pipe you just wanted to rip your ears off, so I had a muffer shop weld on flowmaster super 44's where the LM1 resonators came off. In the video the tips are removed and its setup like turn downs however I still have the pipe and tips and they bolt right on in 5min.

The car has a clean title and it is in great shape as you will see in a min. I still owe on the bank loan and am asking a resonable $18,000FIRM for her.

Im sure I left some info out but can't think of anything else to mention at the moment. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks- Adam

New price $17,000 or Im trading her in....

Just out of curiosity, if you do trade her in, are you going to trade her in stock? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what are they giving you on trade in? I'm trying to avoid doing this with my Mach, but it's a tough market for private sale right now.

thanks, and sorry for the thread hijack,
JC

Not parting out the car, the CAI goes with it.

sorry but i thought it was a good offer, you can find many machs with the same mileage or lower miles (i.e. only paid 14k with 39xxx miles) bone stock and bragging about modds only decreases not increases, i think greed is playing you, so no its not an isult it was a serious offer but ok good luck finding a buyer:butt:

Is it low-ball? Yes and no. He started at $18k, lowered it to $17k and went back up to $17,500? That's probably a little high. That's dealer pricing. Private party value is from $13,900-16,100. Trade in value is from $11,800-14,100 with "good" condition being $13,300. I'm sure the person that offered 13k would buy it for 13,500 and they'd both be happy and he'd have more room to get a truck because a dealer will probably not offer 13k for the car in reality or if they do they won't budge on the price of the truck. He could offer this car to someone who really wants one for a good deal. It's what I did with my '00 GT last year. I had already bought my '04 Mach outright from a dealer for $19k with a little over 20k miles on it. They were only going to allow $5500 trade in for my GT but when I was working that deal I couldn't get them down below $20k on the Mach so I decided to turn around and sell someone a very clean GT for $6000, just $500 more than what the dealer was offering me and then deal on the Mach and got them down to $19k with no trade in. 13K isn't out of line for the car and he'd be offering someone else a great deal on the car. What goes around comes around I say. It would be nice to make more money on the car, though I suspect that $13k is less than the loan against the car so he most likely can't sell it that low even if he wanted. My GT I had owned free and clear for years before selling it and I got a heck of a deal on the GT when I purchased it originally in '02 only paying $10k for the car which a dealer would have still asked $10k for the GT even last year which is why the trade-in value was still low. At the time I only had to fork out ~$2500 since I had sold my TT Stealth for $7500. My two cents on the subject though.

The car is mint, there are GT's selling for more in my area. I still owe 10K on the loan so the lowest Ill take is 17K. I dont give a **** what anyone else sold their car or bought their car for. This car is worth everybit of the 17K I am asking. The mods are very mild, she runs great and is always maintained and polished, glazed, and waxed.

Thanks to the ones who can agree that that was a lowball offer. But 13K will not get you this car, if that angers you then quit ******** on my thread and move on. :smack:

:smokin: :smokin:

yeah i would pay that much for a "mint" car with that low miles but a "mint" with 50k miles is not considered mint

sorry dude but your just being greedy, shouldnt buy a car if you cant afford it 10k left on your loan and your an firefighter/EMT
wow i only owe 5k left!

LOL

good luck selling at that price

I've owned the car less than 1.5yrs kid and paid 19K. I see we live in a world where scumbags like yourself make fun of a firefighters pay. Seems your not far from the meth head scumbags im used to helping at 4am.

BTW I spend way more on expensive firearms than vehicles, at least that way I get my investment back when I sell it. So this car is at the bottom of my priority list. Please do yourself a favor and quit posting in my thread, you seem to not know when to quit.

I can tell you what tradein is. Around 14k, thats if your buying a 40k truck. Trades suck right now. I hope you get the 17k though.

Look man I was just offering my selling experience and trying to show you market value on these cars right now, which is low. I know you feel like you have a car worth every penny you are asking, but the market is not there at that price right now and will be hard to get that for it. I hope you do and good luck with your sale.

I can keep going. The resale of a vehicle depends highly on where you live(state). I didnt even show you the GT's selling for the same price, the mach1 wont be hard to sell. Someone will come along, they always do.

I will sell it at 17K, Im in no rush anyway. :3amin:

AND

If you arent interested in the vehicle I have for sale, you need not post.:anger: K

Dang, the first one on that list of three for sale was supercharged too for $17,500! That's a decent price for one with a power adder and more horsepower than a stock shelby gt500!

:23: I just noticed that the first one is the same price as yours with a pro charger, good way to compare pricing in "different areas" smut

just another run of the mill pissed of firefighter saving meth junkies and has come to the realization that he shouldve been a cop so he could power trip even more!

Your choking on your own words there son. YOU SAID "sorry but i thought it was a good offer, you can find many machs with the same mileage or lower miles (i.e. only paid 14k with 39xxx miles) bone stock and bragging about modds only decreases not increases, i think greed is playing you, so no its not an isult it was a serious offer but ok good luck finding a buyer"

Your pathetic.

And BTW someone wants to come take a look at it tomorrow with 17 cash in hand. Sorry to burst your bubble kid, now go make mommy bake you a good dinner and you two can talk on how she raised such an upstanding young man that bashes and talks down to people he doesn't know.

Mods you can lock this thread, as this punk obviously has nothing worth while to contribute and he can't seem to bow out of this thread.
