99/01 Cobra Intake VS 03/04 Mach Intake????

Hey guys I was wondering if there is any significant difference between the 99/01 Cobra intakes and the 03/04 Mach intakes (upper and lower plenums)?? I'm looking to get one that has had the "fix" so it should be up to par. Also once ported are these just as good as ported mach intakes? Any fitment issues? Thanks!!

no difference, if i remember there was 1 vacumn port that was a different size, been a while since i had my ported 01 intake on the car.

I have ported a lot of both. The older ones take a little more work but once ported they are equal. I have a 99 on my car now that was Extrude Honed by Ford and hand ported by me. It makes awesome power. From what I have heard the intakes that were reworked by Ford will have the last two letters of the part number (on the bottom) sanded off and replaced with a hand engraver, mine is that way.

The early 99-01 Cobra intakes didn't flow very good so Ford had them Extrude Honed.

Hey Roy could you let me know how much you would want to port one of these intakes for me, and throw in an intake spacer as well? Also turn around time? Thanks! -Rex R
