Well I installed a PSR kmember:devil: last week now I need to hit the track for some testing. I'm either going to go on Sep 28 or 29 depending on what works best for anyone else that would like to go. I would prefer to go to SW on the 28, but I'm flexable.

So who else wants to hit the track, and what date works the best?

I'd like head out to get time on the track as well as get some practice with my D50 nikon. The 28th would work better for me.

Well it looks like 3 out of 4 prefer Friday night, so it looks like I'll plan on Friday. I will more then likely head to the track right after work Friday night.

The only problem with going to SW on Sat is the complete lack of track prep. Atleast on Friday night they prep the track because they run bracket classes along with a T&T lane.

Count me in for Friday too Shane! Still haven't taken my BfG Kd's to the Track! With the slightly cooler temps, should be a somewhat fairer comparison. Don't think they will be as good as I hoped though, the sidewalls seem very stiff! Watch out, the next time going to Prescott via Yarnell though! Looking forward to the Wilholt-Prescott leg!

I have to be in Tucson Friday night as well, but I'm gonna head out to the track Friday night, then drive down to Tucson late. We could cruise down together after hitting the track. :smokin:

Prolly around 11 or 12 when the track closes. Unless the track is crap, if its an ice ring then I will leave sooner. You have to be their by a certain time?

Ahh, I would be trying to ditch speedworld by about 10 or earlier...going to Tucson to see some friends I have not seen since I transferred from UA to ASU in the spring. I've been so caught up in working to pay for my mach that I had kind of neglected them and would feel if I were to get in Tux that late. Oh well, I will have plenty more chances to hit up Speedworld now that it's getting cooler :santa:

Just a quick question, does anyone ever hit up Friday night races over at Firebird...it's not way out in the middle of nowhere and they are putting in that new track surface right now.

I ran at Firebird last year during FFW, but I normally run at SW. Either track is the same distance from my house, I just haven't made it back to Firebird yet.

I do have a few friends heading to Firebird Friday night one with a sonic blue cobra on big and littles he should be easy to spot.

Bummer.....our refueling outage starts this weekend as we shut down Unit 3 Friday night. My next track opportunity for either Friday night or Saturday day doesn't occur until 10/19 & 20th..........but I'll be ready then with the P&P intake installed and line lock in place! Mark

Good luck Indy!!! Wish I was out there!!! Sweet way to get a K-member!!!!!:yeh:

Thanks, I just hope it helps me get some traction. I haven't even used the bottle with the new trans and T/C yet (and thats what they were built for), because it hasn't hooked since they were installed. I'm trying to avoid running slick, but it is starting to look like that my only option.

I need to get some adj rear shocks next, still running the stockers.

I'm going to get a set of Hoosiers or Regular ET Streets (not the DRs) to put on an extra set of 17 wheels. Or change to a 4.30 gear with 28 slick for the track and forget about it.

Well I hope everyone had a good time at the track last night, I know I did.

With the new PSR kmember and no other changes (set everything at stock spec with the coil overs) I shaved a tenth off my 60' and a tenth off the top end. It felt very stable and transferred pretty good, now its time to turn the bottle back on:smokin: and see what it can do.

OK... I put all of these on a DVD. But for whatever reason the sound keeps hesitating while it plays??? So here are the links to StreetFire.

I had to leave before "Indy" made his pass... maybe next time. I also apologize for the quality, but I was using a digital still camera set in movie mode. So it was the best it could do.

P.S. Does anyone know if the white GT500 and the black GT500 were real GT500's or clones? One ran 13.6 and the other was in the 14's??? If they were real what an embarrassment for Ford!

It was brought to my attention tonight that a few of you didn't know that I had posted the vids of my Mach from the track in the drag racing section. So I figured I would post them here too.

Here is a vids from the last time I went to the track before installing the PSR Kmember:
