New performance chip!

I just installed a new "Jet Performance products" chip in my mach1. It said that it would increase hp by 18 to 30 and torque by 22ft lbs. I took it for a spin and did notice a difference in performance. I also heard that it increases the top speed limiter from 157 to 170mph. Has anyone checked this product out?

nope, I tune mine myself with my SCT Livewire flasher and PRP

never used jet either...those numbers are kinda hard to fathom unless youve got quite a bit of work done or have a power adder

I haven't used their stuff. I self tune with Sniper.

I wouldn't go 170 without some serious suspension mods. :bigeyes:

I guess the best thing to do is get it dyno'd and see how much of a difference there is. I have barried the needle in my Mach 1 only twice now and both times It felt pretty glued to the road. This was of course without the new chip!. and I did not use the digital mph gauge option, so I took it to 150 and stopped there. My wife has had it up to 145 once as well.:gears:

Ford Enginneers said that the spoilers on the newer mustang actually start lifting the rear tires at anything over 140 mph , the 00 cobra spoiler and the 03-04 cobra spoilers are the only ones that are actually functional ........just a word of advice , I have had my 02 GT to 147 and I could feel the rear of the car lifting up .......kinda scary ......
