Seems like a lot of us have the AFS 17x10.5, 17x9 wheels. They are heavier than stock wheels by 5-7 lbs each (and yes, the 17x9s weigh more than the 17x10.5s).
Adding 20 lbs of unsprung weight should have a negative effect on 1/4 mile times, right? How much? Any ideas, assuming comparable tires?

Not sure about the 1/4 times, but my AFS 17x9's were in deed 6lbs a piece heavier than stock. These ate up about 11hp on the dyno. I am sure that the weight they carry is a huge negative in times. Especially when you consider the added roataional mass added to the rear axle.
