We just got our first 2004 Competition Orange Mustang (a V6 coupe) two days ago. While I'm not crazy about the color personally, one of our regular customers did order an '04 Mach 1 in orange after seeing it on the V6.

I saw a base vert in the orange color yesterday - it certainly does stand out. Anyone in the Brandon FL area can see it at Brand Ford. Of course, the way they price their Stangs, it will be sitting there for a looooooooooooooong time:rolleyes:

I saw a Competition Orange GT at a dealer today....I think initially you either love it or hate it...it sort of grows on you after awhile.

I think it would be a GREAT color if you were going to do more track racing than street driving.

They are putting comp orange on V6 stangs? I sure hope they don't do that with Azure blue!!:mad:

From what I have read, the new competition orange will be available on all Mustangs. So far, Azure blue is a Mach 1 only color and like you, I hope it stays that way.

i think the guys at fo mo co read all this interest about the orange at ford message boards and decided to make it available on all mustangs...it was probably meant originally to be for the machs only.
