For you guys running the AFS 9 inch Mach 1 replica wheels, what lugs nuts are you using? I just received my 17x9 inch Mach 1 replica wheels today and was just going to use my factory wheel lug nuts that came with the car. What's everyone else doing? Thanks.

I bought some of the extended tip nuts they sell. They are solid, non- jacketed nut. I did use the factory locks though.

I did see the extended tip lug nut that they sell. When I ordered my wheels, AFS didn't say that those lug nuts were they only ones that should be used. However, they do seem like a good idea. I just assumed you could use the factory ones if you choosed to. Thanks for the responses.

The factory lug nuts fit, but you'll no longer be able to use your factory tire iron to remove them. Youll have to use a 13/16 socket. The factory lug nuts sit too far into the hole on the 17x9 and you cant get a bite on them with the factory wrench.

WannabDSG: Good point! I'll carry the proper socket and drive setup. Thanks.

I also took the car to Discount Tire for them to torque the lugs down. I think this is very important on these rims.
