Project Spec: Complete IronMan 76mm 03-04 Cobra Turbo kit, Digital Boost control, Cobalt boost and Air Fuel gauges, DFI w/ 83lb injectors, twin 255Lb pumps, twin fuel lines, Fuel rails, 3-4" tigged Aluminum intake tubing, full 3" exhaust from long tube headers, Custom side exhaust, 8.8 solid axle w/ Eaton Posi 4:10's, 31 spline Moser axles, BBK Control arms, KYB quadshocks, Centerforce clutch, Fluidyne radiator, Crank case pump, 4 piston Brembo Brakes, 2x2x1/4 box tube subframe, 6 point cage, Ironman GenII Targa Kit and IronMan CL2 c-pillars

We elected to do a total sleeper by keeping the entire Eaton housing with the snout. We successfully gutted the stock supercharger and opened up the entire charger housing to create a large intake plenum. The charger was reassembled with the boost pulley now acting as an idler, so that when the hood is popped it looks like a bone stock 03. This not only utilizes the existing upgraded water to air intercooler for our 23PSI , but also saves $$$ on an air to air intercooler and replacement manifold. Estimated power is 810 RWHP and 900+ with Heads and cams.

WOW!! All I can say is WOW!! That will be a killer setup, assuming they can get an efficient enough heat exchange out of that stock air/water intercooler. :machgod: :machgod:

I would think that whoever is sitting in the passenger seat would have a good chance of getting roasted with all the heat from the exhaust blowing by so close....

So why did they put ironman 4.6 turbo underneath the hood after going through all the trouble to hide the turbo? :headbang:

Yea really, guess he wouldn't want you lookin under hood prior to racing. Also, look at the handy work on the side scoop, pretty decent job cutting right on the corner and leaving the bevel of scoop intact.

After lookin at it, he must have fabbed that whole sidescoop collar. don't see how that could be cut out of our sidescoops.

There was a Mustang at the AFN's last year in Carlisle that had the same setup....I would imagine turbo lag would be an issue....

What's the point of the blower? Just needed some parasitic drag to slow things down?

Freakin' Colonel.

Ya next thing you'll know the Colonel will have the same setup when he goes twin turbo. But he'll say its much more balanced of a system because I have a turbo on BOTH sides lol.
