New Mustang Forums under Construction

so far Ive got a partially functions mustang forums....they can be found at

www.stangherd.com/forums

Im trying to make it a complete community for "our family" of mustang people. Its going to have the best photo/movie gallery coupled to it of all the mustang sites on the net....its about 3/4 installed as I type this. Then Imma work on the main page and functionality....the forums will get a complete skin design and functions added.

Basically right now I would like your input as to the individual forums/boards layout. I know its pretty in depth, but each main forum is collapsable if you dont ever use it, which allows there to be more.

Also, feel free to actually join and start using it...Im able to work on it as people use it.

Any input/suggestions is appreciated, just remember it is a work in progress.

What Im wanting is a one stop site for the Mustang Family to enjoy everything about Mustangs and our daily lives....just like the atmosphere you would have at a local streetmeet. Plus, I have a TON of storage which will work AMAZING with pictures/videos.

I also use SMF and have had no problems...aside from the initial install (thanks 2k :hail1: ). I think it's better then phpBB.

one of my buddies is an smf developer....ive got the basic smf installed...working on getting gallery2 integrated as well as tinyportal for the main page....one of my brothers is helping me with site graphics

im using lunarpages.com for now...250gb storage and 2.5 terabytes transfer....if the site ever gets big enough, imma run my own in-home server with a t1 or t3 for it

I'm using A Small Orange. I forget the details, but I let my homie 2k4mach (or 2k4tech as we call him) handle all the technical stuff. LOL

my other forums i already run is a vw tech site....its up to about 800 members and 38000 posts....it uses coppermine for its picture software....it takes up about 500mb currently
