Magazines with Mach 1's

Okay everyone. I am trying to document this car thru the magazines. I have started a binder with all the Magazines that I can to try and properly document the car's history. If you have any magazines that I do not have on this list that have a feature on the car or including the car, not just a blurb in a short column, please let me know what mag / issue / and date.

I know that there is a new one out there in Mustang Monthly (I think). I just want to keep a running history and also provide everyone with the information I have so if any of you are interested in doing the same thing we can share any and all info we have.

Well, since you started this, can you collect the rest of the info from the post and put a list up???

Also, this months 5.0 & Super Fords? I think there a pic of a couple of Mach 1's including April's (the Vette lady) on the Powertour...

I would like to second the idea of putting a list on the registry of all magazines that cover the Mach 1. It would be nice to go a little further and post the articles too (copy right issues not withstanding).:cool:

The Mustang Enthusiast article was very interesting, and has the air of being from true enthusiasts. It's the first issue I'd picked up of that magazine, and the noticed Paul Zazarines name on the banner. This guys probably been around the best of Mustang publications for years, so this one has a real chance of being worth checking into from month to month (even though I really didn't care for the first issue from a content standpoint only). It's sister publication is Musclecar Enthusiast and seems to be trying to take up where Muscle Car Review left off. That publication also indicates that the are planning an '03 Mach vs. '03 Cobra shhotout in the near future.

Just got it in the mail today. Big spread on the World Ford Challenge 6. Short story and couple of pics on a couple of new Mach 1's taking 1st and 2nd in the Factory Stock Class (imagine that). One was set up by Paul's High Performance (low ET of 12.24).

AND not to forget-A picture of April is on page 120 with her red Mach in a story about the Hot Rod Power tour.

Don't forget, as well, the issues of those magazines which also had the advertisement for the Mach 1. There were one and two page versions of that ad and as a collector of various automobilia the ads are as collectible, if not more so, than the articles on the actual car. Those were run around the beginning of the year, and if I can get a list of those I will post them as well.:THUMBSUP:

Pretty good word of mouth for the Registry in MM&FF, but a great article about the superb work you do for all of us! (And even a good word to your understanding wife). And I'll bet you didn't even write it yourself (unlike some people around here who might have done just that...ahem:D )
Also, a very nice shot and kind words in 5.0 for our own April The Mach 1 Lady...:THUMBSUP:

Actually I did 98% of the article, Jeff Bauer just sent me a bunch of questions and info to answer and I wrote about a page and half of stuff for him to use, he did make it sound much better then what I wrote! :)

Car Collector magazine did a six page article with pictures on my '70 Mach 1 in the April '03 issue. They even featured it on the front cover! :THUMBSUP:
