Anyone having any luck selling their machs? I listed mine for 22k but saw other machs with less miles in my area going for less so I dropped price to 20,500. I am getting another vehicle at supplier pricing, and the dealer told me he would only give me 16,400 for my car, sad thing is I would have done it for 18,400. You know if a car dealer lets you leave the lot he honestly couldn't do the deal. I love my car don't want to sell it but I can't keep it, and get another car.

Its the market you are in. The south sells cars for cheaper than the northeast. For instance my cousin is buying a monte carlo right now. 2000 cashback in florida only 1000 cashback here. And because of the NY market dealers will generally give you a little more in this area than there. However we will pay more on a new one too. Sell it on Ebay with a RESERVE price of your 20,500 and start the bidding at 1 dollar to generate bids. If your reserve price is not hit you dont have to sell the car.

Yeah, I listed my 03 Mach with 33,500 miles for $21,900 here in upstate SC. It's been up for sale for about 3 weeks, I've had 2 calls and that's it. There are '03 GTs listed for more than my Mach in my area and a couple Machs listed for more than mine. I'll stick it out for a bit longer I guess and see what happens.

Dealer here offered me 21500 for my Mach (12k miles) on trade in...and I get X plan so he can't haggle the price....I'd hold out for more if it's in excellent conditon.

I went ahead and listed in the auto trader. I originally listed it for 22k but I looked at similiar machs in my area so I dropped the price to 20,500 seems fair I think. I'll give it a month.

ANyone ever check out carmax for prices. I mean the chevy dealer as I said offered me 16,400, because I was getting supplier on another vehicle. Wonder what carmax would give me without buying anything from them? Thanks

I bought my Mach from Auto Trader last year and it was listed as a GT, but reading through it and the pic showed it wasn't a GT. Mine had 13k miles and I got it for 19k, but he was needing money yesterday, so I got a great deal. He listed it for two months and had a bunch of calls, but mostly people wanting a ride in it. I love black Mach's, but red was a secondary choice that I got.

Well, I dropped my price to $20,500. We'll see what happens.

Wonder what loan value on the cars are, that would give a better idea of where it needs to be price wise. I dropped mine to 20,500 also.

Retail on my car is like $21,450. That's usually what the loan value is.
