Supposedly, the bolt pattern is the same, but the offset is wrong.

"17" X 8" Bullitt Wheels and Tires
New 2005 Take-offs
less than 5 miles.
$799.95 set of 4. includes wheels, tires & center caps.
*Note: offsets on these wheels are only correct for 2005 Mustangs.
These do not fit 1994-2004 correctly. "

I've seen '05 GT wheels on earlier model cars recently. The offset is different, but may not be enough to be an issue. The lug pattern (5-4 1/4) is very common. It may require a small wheel spacer, but I'm not certain. I've though about the new 18" polished Bullitt style wheels...pretty sharp! :borg:

I recently saw a 99-04 Stang at the gas station which had the 05 wheels.
It looked OK, but I don't now if it had spacers or?

But the reverse MIGHT be OK.
99-04 wheels on an 05 = sounds like a No.

05-06 wheels on a 99-04 = Maybe?
The one I saw looked ok, but, like I said,
I don't know if it had spacers or?

05/06 wheels are 45 MM offset. Our stock wheels are 30 MM offset. So the 05/06 stock wheels "go in" 15MM (over 1/2") more than our stock wheels.

So if you don't like the looks of our stock 17X8's, you woule hate the 05/06 wheels on our cars.

However, have seen our wheels on them, and they sit out about 1/2" and look good.
