The Mickey's..
Think I can put them on the stock 8 in. wheel or should I get some 9's?
Their recommended to be used with 9-11" wheels..

They will fit.
Did you try it? Did it work OK? Think Ill try em on 8's and if they suck Ill buy some 10.5 in. wheels. It's hard to get a street race on Weld wheels and 28 x 10.50 ET Drags.

I had the 17" M/T and was able to get a 1.64 60ft with them. I have never tried the BFG though. I can tell you I never got close to 1.6s with the Nittos.

What size wheels were they on?

Thanks! I guess the rear bumper does look like black chrome with the sun hitting it just right.

Yes sir! you are right about the 60' times with the ET Streets. I normally run 1.6's with them, but I have pulled a 1.595, & 1.585 with them on two different track outtings. The Nittos don't hold a candle to these tires.

Roy, I have the MT's mounted on my stock wheels for daily (sunny only) driving. They are amazingly sticky. Moreso than the set of BFGs I previously had. If you can, get a 9 inch wheel. On the outside and inside edges of my tires there is a different wear pattern and it probably has to do with the wheel being too skinny...

Quick question...I have the AFS 10.5" wheels which are currently sporting 315/35 (i think) /17 Nitto DR's. My question is, will the MT 275/40/17 be as wide as my current set up? Also, is it ok to run on this wide of a tire? I know the MT will hook better, but I love the wide tires in the back and I do not want to lose that.
