I have sent CDC a message to see if they would do a group purchase. I don't know the rules on this site for this but if so would anyone be interested? I know the current price for the side exhaust is really steap! (995.00)

What are the rules for a GP on this site?

If they will not do it for an idividual will any of the site sponsors become a CDC reseller to help our cause?

They are so nice looking! :HOPPY:

Let me talk to George (Owner) or Marnie, I know them at CDC and maybe we can work something out.!! I have bought the side exhaust for my '94 GT and my wife's '99GT.

That would be awesome!

I have tried to get just the side pieces and it was cheaper to get the whole kit. I can't find anyone who will provide the kit for a descent price.

I am really sure we can get a ton of people on the board to sign up if we can get a good price!

I know I love the look of that car. I want my car to look the exact same with the 03 motor.

Don't worry about me messing up my car. I will keep it till I die! ;)

I love love the look of that 67 Fastback in Gone in 60 Seconds. Wish I could afford one of those. I hope we can get enough interested parties to get a good deal!

I think this was the CDC car at the SAAC in Nashville, In.
Think it looks great, I also like the 3/4 blackout on hood.

What would happen to the bumber, would you have to replace it? I would look bad with the 2 cut out for the tail pipes. And it would look like a V6 from the rear. Wouldn't it?
Just my 2 cents.

The rear exhaust cutouts are handled like the Roush kits, the have the small cover for each side that completes the look.

I've got a Roush Stage I kit I'm trying to sell if anyone is interested. It has the front and rear fascia, side skirts, side exhaust, and spoiler. I suppose I could break it up if you're not interested in the spoiler or front fascia. I've got all the hardware and instructions, and personally I think the Roush kit looks 10x better than the CDC one.

Rear Bumper - if anything happens to it, just put a V6 bumper, it doens't have the cutouts!

Ha, finally a mod to a white Mach that Socal won't make--put me down for one!!! --don't get me wrong-Socal is a good buddy, just want to have the 2 white Machs appear a little different.

WAIT--last time I checked CDC the side exhausts were on hold/back order--are they shipping/producing them again?

But I am sure we could get the cost down if we could get enough orders.

I know other sites that might be interested as well.

Are all the exhaust pipes and parts still all stainless steel????

I have spent way to much time and money over the years constantly replacing rusting steel, or "aluminized" steel, exhaust parts. I would never want to go back to doing that again.

James,

Thank you for visiting Classic Design Concepts online.

If you can get 8 orders together we can offer a rate of $720.00 per kit plus $70.00 for shipping. All orders would have to be in before we would ship and honor the pricing. Any questions please contact us.

This is the message I got back, but maybe someone else could get a better price. I am Joe Bob from the street asking for a break. Still thought 275.00 dollars off is a dang good price guys! Let see how many we can get together.

Walt - I bleive the pipes to be aluminized and the tips are SS. I am sure someone can sent them a message. I live in Texas and today is the first day my Mach 1 got wet! Usually in the garage. :(

i might be able to swing $720 + shipping.. i am in..

as long as its the complete kit.. the rear parts.. aside parts.. etc etc..

painted or unpainted?

jpetre

They come unpainted and they are ready for paint. I took my mirrors off and sanded them put on a couple good coats of primer and took them to my local Ford dealer. They painted them for 30.00 under the table for me.

I am sure you could do the prep work and have them done for fairly cheap!

This would be the whole kit. This from there web site!

Does anyone know how these mufflers sound, and how they are in the way of performance? I would hate to spend all of this money and have them sound like crap or gain less hp and torque than the others.

Speaking from my experience from my use with the Roush kit on my GT, you'll get better performance over the stock cat-back for sure, but just a hair less of what you'd get from a aftermarkt rear exit catback. The reason is, the mufflers on side exit stangs have the inlet and outlet on the same side - the exhaust doesn't pass straight through the muffler, so there's more restriction there. However, you don't have to loop over the solid axle anymore either, so that makes the difference not so bad.

These are the Super Turbo Dynomax Mufflers.

They would resemble the Magnaflow's just a slight bit less loud.

if there is 7 or more orders i could get a little better price than $720 maybe like $680-700
also i dont think classic has a set shipping amount
i have ordered there before and it depends where in the country its going to. it usually ranges from $60-80 for the side exhaust

Does the package come with all of the highlighted stuff?

serialheroes
06-06-2003, 06:02 AM
no it does not come with the mirrors or the rims
i think the mirrors are just painted unless they are the directional mirrors from classic. if they are they still come in black and would need to be painted

Zate

rims are right here --> http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/products.asp?catstring=94

i tried to organise a group purchase but no one was interested..

djh0102 - Sorry the reason I asked is because it was in my last e-mail.

Once again and sorry for asking if you were joking I thought you were, so forgive me!

The package includes; Set of Side Rockers, a Set of Front and Rear Spatz, High Flow 2 1/2" Cat Back Exhaust System, Polished Cast Aluminum Tips, Super Turbo Dynomax Mufflers, Mounting Hardware and Instructions.

As you can see no mirrors or wheels, but everything you need to do the side exhaust. You will have to get the parts painted though.

Looking promising guys! :HOPPY: :HOPPY:

All we need is 8 and we have 7 that are pretty sure. Anyone else?
