You would think that Ford would pay better attention to what their website designers are putting on the Ford site. If you go into the area to build a vehicle, they have the engine for the Mach 1 as "16V SOHC" engine.
Good thing we had this website for information!

I thought the Mach 1 was coming with a 4-banger? That's why I ordered one! Dammit! ;) :D

This is a conspiracy. I ordered mine because I thought it would go Mach 1(740+mph). Nobody would give a car a name based on something it couldn't do. That's just truth in advertising. Now I read the first Mach 1 Road Test (in Mad Magazine), and they say it won't go much over 186 mph. I'll just keep the Lambo instead.Ford is in BIG trouble.

Wait, so this preliminary photo I got of the engine compartment is incorrect? My Ford source is not usually wrong. Hope he doesn't get fired for showing this...

Caught this one on BON and decided to check it out. Go to the Ford site and check out the Mustang at a glance. Under the GT section, it says "Feel the wind in your hair at 260 mph". ****, I knew I ordered the wrong car! What the heck is under the hood this year, sounds like a new hp thread coming on.:MADNOEL:

Answer to thread, based on much experience:
