First, I never ever buy the first year of a new car. Need a year to get the bugs out. The plan now is to keep the Mach 1 for a while.

If the new Mustang lives up to it's billing and they pump up the performance then maybe. Would it not be great to see another Shelby GT500KR putting out over 400 HP? Hey, a guy can dream can't he? :D

I've been asked that so many times since my purchase of the Mach 1 and the unveiling of the Concept GT. My answer is always 'NO'! This car punched all the right buttons for me with no qustions asked. The new car, in its' production form, has yet to be unveiled, and so to say now that would jump ship to the new car would be foolish. I truly hope the '05 car is everything everyone is hoping for, but the realities of building a production Mustang that has to be at a price point to keep it a viable product will be as important in its' design as the artistic abilities of the drawings put to clay and paper.

it's a thought but money wise it's probably not an option

That's what I'm talking about! If they bring out a new Shelby GT500KR or comparable then I might consider buying one. Not sure If I would get rid of the Mach1 though. Might just add to the stable!

If the production fastback stays true to the concept and the horsepower/torque is comparable at a similar or less price than this car, most likely! Actually, I would prefer to keep them both, but I don't know if it will be financially feasible. We'll see...

I am shooting for a 2008 mach 1

the new body will be out for about 3 years so all bugs will be worked out and the prices will drop

Best of all my 2003 mach 1 will be paid for and I will "retire" the car to the stable to only come out for shows.

Oh hehehe I do plan maybee this fall to buy a new hyundia for a beeter car 10 yrs 100k warrenty for 10 k if i can get 100k out of a pos like that ill throw it away.

The only thing I would have even considered trading my mach for would be the rumored Boss 302 next year but it dosen't look like that's gonna happen

I'll be keeping my Mach I for the rest of my life. But, in regards to the 05 Mustang... Dad and I are trying to talk Momma into that one.
