Does anyone know what a/f ratios can be considered dangerous to keep running on the mach? like is 14 too lean or 10 too rich or what is optimal?

Also, I thinkt hat K&N cai might be contributing to some lean a/f numbers but regardless with this and mid-pipe, catback, php spacer mods only is a custom tune a MUST? - cause it sure seems to run fine :yeh:

No need for a custom tune. You should be fine. I'm running way more mods than the ones you listed. 14 is fine at idle. 13-12.1 for WOT
I'm running 14.7@idle & 12.9-13.0 on WOT from 2,000-7,000RPM

I think every car is different. With my mods before my dyno tune, my SES light would come on when I would beat on the car. Too lean bank 1 and 2 was the code. Had the car dynoed. I was running 14.6-1 on the top end. After the dyno I'm 13.0 across the board. Gained 15 H.P. and 16 Tq.

$50-60 bucks to find out its ok is so much cheaper than a new engine, so is another $100-200 to get the AF right if its off. Id have it checked personally.

LOL I made more hp at a 12.2 a/f ratio than a 13.0. Generally speaking though a good a/f ratio for a N/A car is about 13.0
