It is an engine control computer that you can use to tune your vehicle's engine management system to match the needs of your partiular engine setup i.e. larger fuel injectors, different camshaft profiles, forced induction, nitrous, adjust A/F ratios, timing, rev limiter, fan control, adjust for different rear gear, can adjust idle, part throttle and WOT etc.... nice thing about this is that you can tune in real time.

you can adjust a/f ratios in 500 rpm increments. also its a stand alone system with ALOT faster processor that the stock computer has. pms takes over after 2000 rpm. cost about a grand for the pms without all the addon you can get for it

The PMS is the ongoing and upgraded version of the original Crane Interceptor that was developed during the old eec4 days...They are a great tuning tool. I have assisted friends who had the eec4 versions and they really gave a lot of tuning flexibility to these cars.

Definately worth the money if you have the time and are talented enough to do your own tuning...

I didnt know they made one for the mach, Ive been thinking about getting one for my 5.0 once i put the blower on.
