I have 4 saleen rims on the way, 18x10 for the back- 18x9 for the front. Now I need to order some tires but I'm not sure what sizes to get. I'm thinking 295/35/18 for the back and 275/35/18 for the front. Does this sound ok? I would like the sidewall on the back to be alittle taller then the front, that is why I was thinking 275/35/18 and not 275/40/18 but if I went with a 265 front tire I could go with a 40 sidewall. Would a 305 fit a 10" rim? See what I mean? The more I think about all the sizes and combinations the more confused I'm getting. Feel free to give your input and don't worry; you won't confuse me anymore than I already am. :notsure:

The more narrow you go in the front, the better it will drive.

Actually now that I think about it, to save some money and maybe increase the performance of how you car drives you could go with a 245/40/18 up front.

This would match great with the 295/35 in the back. You have to remember that the second number is the percent ratio of the how wide the tire is. So 35% of a 295 is gonna be just as tall as 40% of a 245. I would go with this set up for all the reasons I have mentioned.

265/35 up front and 295/35 out back is what im running.
Ive ran 315/30 bfg drags on my rears so fitting a 305 should be no problem

Do not run 275 on front. This is what my wife has on hers and we both hate the way it drives now. :notsure:

I've seen several Machs recently with 18X9's running 245X40x18 tires. They don't look a lot diffeent from my 255X40X18's. They looked Ok to me, and I bet handled great. Probably ride rough though with their vertical sidewalls. I would probably run 285X35X18 on 18X10 rears (actually I have before), but 295X35X18 would fit OK also. Wide don't do anything for me, unless it is optimum size.

Thanks for the help, I just ordered the tires. I ordered 265/35/18 and 295/35/18. I bought from Tire Rack. They have a special on the 295/35/18 BFGoodrich Comp t/a's for $119 apiece. I figure they are comparible to the Goodyears on the Mach1 now. I got the G-FORCE T/A KDW'S for the front since they don't make the others that would fit my fronts and the tread pattern is almost identical. I'll switch to the G-FORCE for the back after I've shreaded the comp t/a's :3:
