Yeah, this seems to be the latest Ebay scam...the old "buy it now" cheap price, but then you have to be "pre-approved" to bid. Basically, you contact the person....who by the way....somehow "stole" the auction....to get "pre-approved". I don't know what happens next, but it's probably a check for cash scam. Keep an eye on it. It'll be shut down by tomorrow. Ebay is pretty good at keeping up with these scams.

Looks similar to a auction about a week ago.
I saw a 1970 Boss 429 for a buy it now for $7600 , also had to be pre approved.

I knew something was not right when i saw it but I inquired about it anyway I figured it was a typo.

a few hours or so later I got an email saying that his acount was hacked, earlier before this email i received i got another one which I missed in my inbox saying to goto escrow.com the instructions where not very clear, escrow.com is where I was supposed to pay $7600. Anyway the moral is dont waste your time,

if it sounds to good........

The escrow site is usually faked. It's nothing more than a method to steal identities.
