Oklahoma Deadhorse Mustangs presents our first Club Dyno Day of 2005.
http://www.okdhm.com

Time:
9am
8am if we have more than 20 cars.. still no problem to show up at 9am if you can't get there at 8

Place:
Alternative Motorsports
8608 W. Reno Oklahoma City, OK 73127
405)440-0933
http://alternativemotorsports.onsmartpages.com/

Equipment:
Inground Dynojet 248C

Cost:
$40 for 3 pulls including a/f readings.
More than 15 cars price drops to $35

All Mustangs are welcome to come for sure. Non-mustangs are welcome as well. However, if the event becomes to large, club members get first dibs.... but I don't see that happening.

We plan to have some activities after the event. Depending on the size of the group we will go eat if we do not order pizza in during the event.

Stay tuned for more information.

If you plan to attend or dyno, let me know what you will be doing and I will add you to our list.

Any questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Derrick

yup
We don't have many choices though. We wanted an inground DynoJet dyno and there are only 3 I know of in Oklahoma. One is not installed (moved) currently... or rather it's installed makeshift with above ground equipment... the other one, we had plans, but the guy doesn't know how to properly run a business. We asked for the 12th and he said sure, put us down... come to find out another club had asked for it a month earlier.. So that put is to Alternative. The owner is a great guy, from what I've heard, and COFBA (central OK f-body association) did a dyno day there already. Supposedly it went real smooth, quick, and professional.

//edit
can't believe there are other boards out there that bleep out cuss words.. fu(king rediculous.. I put "a sss sss" for assoication and it *** it out.. gay..
anyways...

I started the other dyno day thread on this forum.
This place is fine with me as they do have a Dynojet.

I would prefer to do my run late (or later) in the day.

How may cars per hour do you think they can do?? 3 or 4??

ahh, didn't really read that thread til now..

thats cool.. we'll be there for a while. We currnetly have over 20 cars dynoing. Supposedly they are pretty good about getting them in and out and have done over 35 cars before during a dyno day.

we have a lot of cars coming!
looks like it's going to be a FULL day. Starts at 8am and will probably last until 8pm. We have almost 30 cars

Because of the lateness, the club probably won't go eat now. But we will order pizza there or break off into groups for eating and then return to the dyno for more watching.

Thanks to Oklahoma Deadhorse Mustangs and
Alternative Motorsports for hosting the dyno day.

My best pull was 275.1 rwhp, 296.4 rwtq SAE

Here are some additional stat's:

BoneStock and best run was first pull.
3 pulls, 2 min. between and engine left running.
Fuel a/f on 1st pull was different that 2nd and 3rd.
My 3rd run, which was 1/2 rwhp less than the 1st,
made about 10 rwhp more at 6000rpm.

My best was 288 rwhp and 313 rwtq

The A/F was a little rich after 4000 rpm's, I leaned it out w/ the predator, I am thinking of going back to check the tune.

My best of 3 pulls:
279.2 rwhp / 299.3 rwtq SAE

My first pull was the best with each subsequent pulls losing about 2 rwhp & tq. Mine was the first car to dyno that morning so I got the machine warmed up for everyone else. :yeh:

My mods are Bassani catted x, Borla Stingers, and K&N aircharger. My AF ratio was fairly constant around 13. The ratios were taken from the tailpipe so the tech said they would be a bit off from actual. It was right about where I expected it to be. My car has 2200 miles. Nice to meet some of the folks from the DH. High hp was a 03 Cobra with pulley, chip and exhaust - pulled 450+ engine only and 505 rwhp with 50 shot. :worship:

Kyle, you need to post up your vid of your dyno when you get a chance. :smokin:

444 HP
455 TQ

I was actually expecting more, but this was with only 20 -21 degrees of timing, and a pretty safe a/f ratio. I went to the track the next day and ran a 12.115@118.50 mph with a 2.029 60ft time. Next time I should be in the 11's if I can hook just a bit!

Traction, traction, traction where has it all gone. Get you some of them G Forces Goodrich (or is it Goodyear?) advertises. They hook up enough to lift a Fox Body and take it through the traps at 178mph and 7.9. Of course, suspension may help a little. :)

Kidding aside, just a bit more hook and you will be there. I hope you get there. Let us know when you do.
