Although some have been getting their asking price (over $20K) for a Mach, it has NOT been from someone here on this board. But good luck to you, and anyone that sells theirs for over $20K means the value of mine has increased!

Considering the low miles, he just might get that! I'm sure he's a little negotiable, so find the right buyer, and he's there! The only thing I really see wrong with his post is that he didn't state whether it's a slush box or the more desirable 5-speed.

Hey I don't mean to be on anyone's side but i think you all need to back off from the classifieds section and stop ruining the attempts people are making to try and sell their cars.

I mean i just know a guy locally that sold a 2004 mach 1 that was torch red, chopped up exhaust where the guy removed the mufflers and put straigh pipes and installed 4.30s and he got 28,500 for his and his had nearly 2,000 miles. So it IS possible.

People STILL want these cars and why send comments that people aren't going to get what they want for their cars because if you think about it all you are is simply DEGRADING your own car by questioning the worth of a another mach 1. Because if his car is worth 24k so is yours but if his is only worth 15k well guess what so is yours. SO why degrade the mach 1, is well worth the price if that be 15k or 30k which many people paid when they came out new.

I agree as well. The more the Mach sells for the more mine is worth, not that I;m going to sell her. But people here know the book value of a Mach, not just the sentimental value of the car (what someone will pay just to get one). I'll leave it at that.

Hey folks, never meant to start any wars here, I thought this would be a good place to post the car for sale. Mach 1 prices are all over the place high and low so I was pricing it in the middle of what I have seen other Machs selling for. Thanks to the people that didn't beat me up about it. :yeh:

I be honest with you i have bought and sold several mustangs in the past as I have owned everything from v6s to cobra a total of 8 mustangs and believe me there is no BOOK VALUE on these cars. One dealer will give you 17k in trade, the other will give you 20k in trade and then a individual might come by and see your car for sale in the yard or whatever and offer 25k, so pricing is very variable with mustangs.

Are you willing to pay $24K for a two-year old Mach 1? Do you know someone who is?

Well since they are not produced anymore, and since not everyone will want the new body style, YES, people still want the mach 1's. The old saying..."I got it, you want it! and the price is set from that. The Mach is special my friend, 4V, Shaker, etc and I believe it will be desireable for some time to come.

I still have peopl asking me where they can get a 'new' Mach 1, so the interest is still out there for those who are just catching on to the cars. Ford didn't even start TV ads on the cars until production had ended.
There is no reason to slam someone for whatever price they may be asking, and if there is a problem there is a right way and a wrong way to approach those situations. So, if you don't want to buy this particualar car and you don't have anythign positive to add, please don't make this someones regret, that's not what we're here for. :borg:

Hey Guys/Gals,

If anyone is looking for a used Mach, this is a nice car. I met up with him last weekend to BS, the car is perfect. I don't think it's even been driven through a puddle, the underneath is spotless. He said he was going to lower the price in the Autotrader to $23k. Check it out if your looking for a car.
