i'd consider purchasing one but, i hear a diablosport predator tuner will void your warranty........and i'd like to keep my 7yr-100,000mi warranty. if you know otherwise fill me in

The Predator does not void your warranty. If you need to go back to the dealer you can just re install the factory tune to the car.
The Predator saves the factory tune so you always have something to go back to in case of a too aggressive tune.

These are the most current models. I have sold 10 to the Bullit guys in the past 2 weeks. All of them have had positive results. The part number is PDQ-5799

I am not familiar with this "PDQ" number. Is this the Predator P/N U7146? The latest MM&FF magazine states that the U7146 is Predator's latest version. If this is what you are selling, you have got a sale.

The original Ford tune is saved in the predator and the battery goes dead on the predator. What happens to the original tune?

get in contact with chris at redline racing if you need any parts, he will not only give you awesome products at a great price with fast shipping, but he will also handle any problems very promptly, trust me i know this as a fact! i had a problem with an order i placed with him and the problem was IMMEDIATLY resolved at his expence with no hassles or B.S. redline racing is a far cry better than the business on this post. if you want no hassles or B.S use redline for all of your parts and you will have no more problems like the guys in the link above, and if you do have a problem it will promptly be resolved.

BTW, i am in no way what so ever affiliated with reline racing i am just letting you guys know that redline is a very good and honest business and will treat you right.

try it later, corral.net is just having technical difficulties right now, try it again at the end of the day or tomorow and you should be able to read it, it is a 3 page post, trust me, after you read it you will have drawn the same conclusion that i and lots of others have. i think corral has even suspended his advertizer status.

I know you guys are concerned with NITROSTANG and I made part of this post on the K&N CAI post. You can read my other comments there as well. As for the Predator:

The Predator was in my hands within 3 days from NITROSTANG and he initiated that group purchase with a closeout date of 5 July. I know some members are concerned about the version number of the Predator and is it current? Yes it is......at least mine is REVISION April 16, 2004 which is p/n U-7146 and I received it from NITROSTANG on the 8th of July.

My point is this..................before slam dunkin' NITROSTANG lets get the facts. I don't think anyone is going to lose their money and there most likely is a legitimate reason for missing correspondence. Hang in there and be patient, I think he's legit!

thats what the guy in the post above did, he was patient for like 3 months along with a few others as well, and they still havent got their money or products. lets not try to glorify a person that is messing around with a lot of peoples money and not even responding on his own behalf.

if you value your money and time i wouldn't do it...

im not trying to personaly slam this guy, i am just trying to let everyone know that they need not to buy anything from him untill he makes wrong things right and brings his reputation back up to ideal, which i hope he does and wish him the best in doing so. their is even people talking about taking legal action on him.

i just dont want anyone else to needlessly loose their money when they can spend it with a reputable business like redline and get what they pay for in a timely matter with good customer service and a better price than most anyone else on the net and not have to worry about getting dissapointed!

you guys can do whatever you want with your money but i would advise against giving it to nitrostang at least until he makes his wrongs right.

You may get a discounted price but you will not get service. Nitrostang will not provide you with the inormation he tells you he will. I was told that the parts for the K&N gb were pre ordered then on the closing date he stated that the parts were orderd that day. I was told for several days that he would send tracking numbers. I still don't even have a tracking number. Now this is nothing personal. I don't even know this guy. This is strictly business. As a business owner myself I know how important it is to communicate with your customers and follow through with what you tell them. I am not saying he will take your money and not give you the product. I am just letting you know that he is not very good with communicating to his customers and is very lacking in Customer Service. just my .02

Randy, it is possible for you to loose your factory tune. It has happened to one of the guys on here already. He had to take the computer in to Fords and get it reflashed. This is one of the risks we all take to go fast.
