Cooling down the Mach

Could someone confirm for me? What is the temperature of the stock Mach 1 thermostat? I pulled mine out yesterday and discovered that it was a 180degree. I thought it would have been a 190degree or higher. Has anyone run a 160degree thermostat, and if so, how did you like it? Will the computor still go into closed loop with the 160 thermostat? My car seems to run stronger when the engine is cooler( i.e. the first 10 minutes or so) ..Does anyone know the stock fan on/off temperatures?

180 T-stats are used country wide.

i could only hear the High Speed Fan turn on at around 214F & it starts turning off at 195F.

im just waiting to get my car back from the dealer & i'll be putting in a 160 T-stat.

I was wondering if a 160 would work also. Mine runs wicked when it is just starting to come up off the Cold peg.:weird:
