Any advice on gear mods? After listening to the advice from many of you friendly fella's on this site, I have started to develope a better understanding of gears and how they work. I understand the Mach 1 stock comes with 3:55's. The general consensus seems to be that 4:10's are great on the 4.6. Haven't heard much on 4:11's other then insane accelleration, but not much top end. Haven't heard anything on 3:73's or 4:30's. A buddy of mine said the best move when swapping gears would be to get a 6'speed installed in the Mach 1, and then higher gears like 4:11's would still have good top end plus insane accelleration. Any thoughts, advice, links??

4.10:1 & 4.11:1 gears are basically the same thing. Any two gears with in about .25 of eachother can be considered pretty much equivelent on a street car.

How much top end are we talking about giving up here? I can live with 10-15 mph less top end.
