How many would be interested in getting a Predator?

I know they had a group buy, but I am working with a friend who just became a dealer and he would buy them and sell them cheaper than previous group buy.

The plus side would be we could meet up and do a cash sale with you getting the Predator as soon as you pay. We could also take paypal if necessary.

Let me know guys.

Sorry to get anyone's hopes up, but I meant $299. I think I can get ten units for $299.

but am interested. I'm starting to research and think about gears, and would need the predator. $299 sounds pretty good. I've been seeing prices much higher than that.

Just to update.

The dealer was gonna do a group buy on some Predators to fill an order requirement.

Dealer cost is around 250. If there is enough interest we might be able to sell them for 299.

It would take atleast 20 people who were interested. that is a lot of front money....the chasing down buyers and money would be an ordeal.

So it might be dead in the water.

How hard is the install and what are the gain(s). Also I do not have access to a dyno or other items that might help if this predator requires much tuning. Also is there any thing that needs to be done before this install?

thanks and Have a great day

The Predastor is a hand held programer that is designed to make it driver friendly. You plug the cable into your OBDII Data Link connector. Once that is plugged in you just follow directions.

It will only work on your vehicle. The first thing neded is to enter your Vin number.

Taking the car to a dyno is good for finding out if your changes made any improvement.

Just got the predator for $299 shipped! He said he was doing a mini-group buy I just happened to get in on it. I think you can still get it for this price if you call him tomorrow (saturday (7/17)

The price goes back to 299 + shipping after that, I believe.

Thanks again Jeff.

does the predator need to be plugged in to be working?
or once you make the changes you can unplug it?

Once you update it, you can unhook it. (You can also keep it plugged in and use the data logging feature)

Will a dealership be able to detect the Predator has reflashed the original program even if the original program is reinstalled before a dealer visit?

Nitrostang,

I am in the market for a Predator and I know you put together a group purchase a while back for a good price and I am assuming everything went as planned. Also I have seen nothing but good feedback on this forum.

But I have to admit this thread on the corral net is pretty alarming. I understand that things happen and sometimes plans don't work out but on the other hand what is done to correct a problem means a lot.

Just wondering what your side of the story is?

Good Lord! This is OLD HISTORY!! Let it die. THis man has been nothing but outstanding while here on the Registry. Let the bickering stay on the Corral where it belongs. Please.

The posts on the carral which apparently you removed were within the last 30-60 days. I would not call that old history.
