Working on a deal for the following:

1. Mid-Length Headers Ceramic Coated
or
2. X-Pipe with Cats
or
3. Cat-Back Exhaust
or
all 3 if you so desire.

Need to know who is interested and what you want. As always the more people we have the better the deal. Off-road X-Pipe without Cats may be an option also depending on demand.

A buddy of mine is about to purchase an 04 Comp Orange Mach 1. He's interested in starting with an intermediate pipe. I'm pushing him into Bassani and of course an off-road pipe.

I'm the newbie here, but I wanted to know if I can get in on the group purchase. I was just thinking of the Bassani set up and came across this. I've only had my Mach 1 for like 3 weeks..traded in my '03 GT for it :COOL:

I wanted to get:
Bassani mid-lengths & X-pipe.

Are these going to be ceramic coated? Also, I've been trying to research the X pipe, they don't make a cattless X pipe in SS, or are these the ones that give you the option.

Yes you can still get in on this, we are still in the begining stages of the GP.

Headers will be Ceramic Coated

Yes you can get a Off Road X-Pipe in SS, my source does not have a lower price than i have found elsewhere, so i did not post it. Maybe Jester can post a good price on it.

The X-Pipe w/Cats has 2 extra pieces, so if you dont want to have the cats in you can do so.

Or if you go the Off-Road method you will not have any Cats at all.

Unfortunately due to Bassani's Price Policies I can't post the prices publicly. That is part of the arrangement in becoming a Distributor. They have specific Advertising Prices that are minimum allowable.

This is probably a stupid question, but if I get the SS X-Pipe kit, will that bolt on to the factory cat-back pipes for now?

I assume I will need the entire cat-back set too...so what if I don't wanna get rid of my rolled chrome tips from the factory exhaust?

Any advice would help guys, my straight 6 '65 coupe didn't have may options in the exhaust arena, so this is all new to me!

when the exhaust is installed you would need to cut the factory Tips and weld them on to the new pipes.

The X pipe will bolt right onto the factory cat-back. I ditched my factory cat-back for the Magnaflow cat-back system...the exhaust tips in them are large and MEAN:devil:

#BX46033 is the Aluminized X-Pipe w/Cats

#46993 is the Stainless Steel X-Pipe w/Cats


I can see why it is confusing, because there is also a #40633 stainless steel listing in the Bassani Catalog but that is for a 2003 Cobra and 00-03 GT/AOD.

All Aluminized products have the BX in front of the part #.

Also there no difference listed in the Bassani catalog as far as being different lengths, so it would seem they are the same size.

Hope this clears things up.

Sorry Vic, I went to Ninosports website and when you choose the headers, right below it is the mid-pipes and they are listed as pipes for mid-length headers...I know the BX line is their "econo" line, which I don't want...I want the steel baby!

I just don't want to get the wrong thing...:frown:

Also I believe we need O2 extentions on the 04's and MIL's if you run the SS X pipe w/o the cats, is that right?

Hey just got off the phone with Bassani, #46993 is the right part and yes you will need an extension kit, Bassani Part #4604EK that is for 2004 MODELS ONLY
