Circuit City did my entire installation without any problems. I bought a Sony MP3/CD player and they even put an RCA line in so I can plug it into my Ipod.

Is your mustang a 2003 or 2004 because they have different connections. I asked circuit city for a wire harness they told me they didnt have one. So i was wandering how they installed yours? Did they cut your factory wires? I dont want to do that.

it's the connection on the left of your picture you need the connection for. Circuit City or Best Buy should have them, I got mine from Circuit City for like $15. I don't remember the number but if you take out your factory and just drive the car to them and show the install guys the connection end they should be able to figure it out.

its actually both the connections, left and 2nd to the right. The far right is the antenna, which you dont need.

The harness on the left (the larger one) has the wires for power, ignition, ground and speaker outputs all your highs (the tweeters in the triangle pods on the doors and your tweeters on your rear deck next to your 6x9's).

The harness on the right is the low level output for the amplifiers.

The radio has an onboard amplifier for the highs and the amps in the trunk run your mids.

From 2003 to 2004 ford changed the radio harnesses. As of a few weeks ago there isn't one for the '04s, but Scosche (http://www.scosche.com) is supposed to have one out by now.

I couldn't wait for the harness (so I could use the factory amps) so I picked up an aftermarket amp and I tapped into the amps outputs so that I didn't have to re run the wiring or cut any wires.

I'm running an in-dash PC setup with a 7" touchscreen in my mach, its kinda neat :D Full GPS, OBDII readouts, MP3, dvd, bluetooth dongle for my cell to hook up and use the stereo system for handsfree, WiFi card for transferring files when the car is in my drive way, etc. I have an external usb soundcard in my trunk which provides the rca inputs for the amp from the computer.

replace the *** with a s s (no spaces :P)

here are a few other pics of the setup:

Temp install with screen mounted with 2face tape :) (http://pyros.kicks-***.net/CompuMach2/DSC01339_resize.JPG) (wires are now hidden now, this is a temp setup)

I custom moulded the screen into the dash, just putting the finishing touches right now before I get it painted:
