Me too. But I use him on another forum, and I just happened to stumble upon this one and couldn't resist. Thought it was appropriate for this site. I'm sure I'll change it often.

I guess you could call me a tire salesman, a small step up from Al Bundy's shoe selling status. The company I work for is also a major (local) aftermaket retailer, catering to mainly truck and SUV's. So I do it all from tires and rims to running boards and winches. Just so the $ are good enough to get me my Mach. I've been doing this for over 20 years so I guess I'm doing somethng right. And any advice I can give to anyone on the registry is out there for the asking.

man...this thread makes me feel really young, which isn't a bad thing. My job is menial compared with most of ya'lls. At the moment I'm just a General Merchandise Clerk at an Albertsons Grocery store. Early next year that will change though. I decided to give Uncle Sam a coupld of my weekends and summer weeks. I'm going into the Air Force Reserves in the Guidance/ Control dept. working on the analog and digital guages in C-130's here at Eglin AFB/ Duke Field. It's sounding pretty interesting and challenging, not to mention that AFTER the 7 months of straight basic and tech school I'll be working with my dad because he's active duty and they're his planes.

OK, I am changing my occupation to 'Guy watching Hurricanes', if that's all right with the best of you. I haven't had a lot of dates lately(saving up for the Mach, you know) and now Lili is paying me a visit tonight. I thought last weeks' storm was something, well a catagory 4 'Cane has everybody evacuating, the rain iss just starting and we're told to expect 60-80 mph winds locally. Cross your fingers, say a prayer(again, please) because I want to be around when the Mach 1 gets offloaded from the trailer in a couple of weeks. And I hope this is the last time I mention this kind of thing for a long time. Thanks, everybody!:)

Hey guys, thanks for the good thoughts. Got through with only a loss of power for about 10 hours. Lots of wind, we saw 46mph and N.O. saw about 75mph gusts. If you saw anything on the Weather Channel or CNN it was Laffayette, about 45 miles west of us. They got clobbered w/90+ mph winds. The rain was not as bad as with Isadora last week, but still hard enough to get me out of bed at 4am. Now, what were you guys saying about snow...:D
LDO, I was looking for the 007 option in the sales brochure, couldn't find anything. There was an aftermarket 'special feature package' that was to be installed by Lockheed Martin, but you had to pick up the car somewhere called 'Dreamland', near Groom Lake. Was going to get it but it costs like $12million. Couldn't afford the note.
