I've got a price of $199 for each thus far....one replied and said they would do it if I collected all of the money and they could ship all the driveshafts to me and I would distribute them. I don't want that responsibility for shipping and I feel quite sure that most people don't want to sent money to someone they don't know. I know I wouldn't. So I guess that one won't work. That's 2 out of 10 responses thus far. Even though, now it sounds high, the $199 may not turn out to be bad since the price increased.

So far the low price is $199 plus shipping. That is for either drive shaft...fox or newer. Some were over $200 for both with the fox one being over $220. Still waiting on other vendors to respond. The $199 price is lower than the price from ford or so they are telling me. Guess some of the older stock at the older prices. The $199 vendor will deal with each of us directly instead of having to go thru none person (me, which I'd rather not do if we don't have to).

I'd be up if we can get it. Maybe we could find someone on here willing to manage the money and shipping :)

I'm still waiting on one guy who is trying to give us a deal. I still haven't heard from him yet. Thus far, the regular order process from Summitt is at $174.95 with free shipping, although they don't have any. They are on back order. No group thing there, just call and order and wait.

The carbon fiber is still up in the air, but, now I hear, Ford is going up again so it looks like the Summit or Jegs @ $174.95 is everyone's best bet on the aluminum driveshafts and that is not a group deal. It's go ahead and call and wait for it to get shipped. Who know what the next price increase will bring.

I will post something when I do hear about the carbon fiber.

Ok, just went to Jegs site....now at $230.99 so scratch that one off the list....better hurry to Summitt!!!

Well guys, it looks like Summit is the best alternative for the aluminum driveshaft. It appears that not only did Ford recently go up, but they may be going up again. The cheapest I found is Summitt as they are still honoring their on-line price of $174.95. It's not a group price, but their regular price until they hike it up in June. So I guess a group buy is out of the question for a decent price as soon, there will be no decent price. I tried, but the cheapest other price I got was fron Diversified and theirs was $199....for now. Theirs was not a group price either. :!!:
