Chat Room Troubles

Hello, Dave! I have attempted to connect to the chat room at random times. Each time, it appears there is one person in the room and when I log in, they are bumped. I am using Netscape Navigator 4.79 on Windows/ME Dell PC. Should I be using Internet Explorer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If someone is there, and you login and they Logoff...What that means is they either DIDN't Log off correctly (EXIT) or their timeout expires for inactivity (10 mins?), then the next person clears the login cache and boots their screen name off.

I don't think it is you. You will have to try it again. But Internet Explorer might help!

Navigator v4.8 out.

Dave, here is a copy of what I saw from the chat room when I tried to access it tonight (skies was shown as logged in)

skies was dropped at 12/4/2002 11:29:16 PM
Tony logged on at 12/4/2002 11:29:15 PM

Shaker was dropped at 12/4/2002 9:27:09 PM
skies logged on at 12/4/2002 9:27:08 PM
mustang man was dropped at 12/4/2002 8:06:59 PM
Shaker logged on at 12/4/2002 8:06:58 PM

mack1 was dropped at 12/4/2002 2:56:24 PM
mustang man logged on at 12/4/2002 2:56:23 PM

Look at the time the folks logged on and then others were dropped. Any thoughts?

It just must be no one is on when you log on. That looks correct.
Like I said, If they Log in and close the chat instead of Log Out, the next time some logs in, ti will clear them out...

I have tried it a couple of times and it seems to work fine...
