Ok no car yet just getting everything in order to clean her up. (Hopefully by the end of Dec)
How and what do we use on the hood decal, side stripes and rear spoiler? I assume we don't polish/wax the hood and side door decals. But I'm clueless as to what we should use. The spoiler is just painted and polish/wax should be fine, right?

I have the same questions as you Vegas. Since this is actually a care I will WANT to wax/take care of (current ride is a Taurus), looking for some general guidance on the process.

1. After I take delivery, what should I do?
2. How long do I let the paint cure before getting a serious wax job done? Remember, I am in Michigan so it will be cold (sub 40) until around May.
3. What should be the ongoing maintenance program for the finish? (every week, monthly, etc)

Looks like car waxes/polishes fall into the religious category, everyone has a favorite they swear by.

WAX all the stripes! It does not change the sheen and gives protection! Just did it to mine.
