I tried the search but nothing specific on how to install an aux Ipod input to the factory head unit. I am happy with how it sounds but i am tire of FM. An aftermarket head is an option , just wanted to keep the stock look.

I think there are kits out there, years ago I found one but it was over 100.00, being that high I just put a touch screen in instead. Best thing I ever did. It will not be long before the CD mechanism fails anyway. I have gone through 2 of them. Those radios are junk.

I should also note that if you buy the right wire adapters, you can install a new head unit without making a single cut to your wires and can put it back stock at a later time if you so choose.

This one is hard to find (currently unavailable on Amazon) but if you can find it, its a direct plug and play with an '04 head unit with Satellite controls.

I can listen to whatever I want via a 3.5mm headphone aux input now. It sounds great too.

That and a few other items I found in my search last night did not pan out.I think this day and age there isn't much use for that sorta thing. I am going to go with a double din head unit and save the trouble.
